A Path to the Future

If given the opportunity to develop this project further over the next few months, we would hope that we could integrate our planned datasets in order to build a minimal viable product for public testing.

We would like to test the apps in different seasons and weather conditions to ensure viability.

​

We would hope to get community feedback on the User Experience, Design and what else they would like to see from the app. 

There could be a community option to add extra points of interest such as public art, sightseeing vistas or even recommended food spots.

​

Eventually as part of a refit to public transport options and with the rollout of newer public transport fleets, we would like to include an IoT device to provide real time location and temperature data to allow the app to respond dynamically to conditions on the ground.

​

These devices could also potentially be used to gather sunlight data to gather information for the potential of adding solar power to augment existing electrical systems on public transport and vehicles.
